Sarah Wolfolds

Professor Sarah Wolfolds

Club Advisor

Professor Sarah Wolfolds is the Andrew Paul Sesquicentennial Faculty Fellow and senior lecturer at Cornell’s Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management. Her research explores how for-profit and nonprofit organizations interact in industries like microfinance, focusing on financing models, HR systems, and organizational objectives. More recently, she examines financial exclusion in the U.S. Her dissertation research was supported by a Strategic Research Foundation grant.

Henry joined SCC in Fall 2023 as an analyst and later served as a project manager for Circular and Sowfin. He is passionate about data analytics and startup risk management. He loves how he could see the impact of his contribution in the fast-growing environment of startups.

Diya joined SCC in Fall 2024 as an analyst because of her interest in startups. Diya really wanted to help grow and learn about different startups in all different disciplines. Diya has worked for Cyberspara and Unibaio.

Summer 2025: Summer Analytics intern at Realty America Group Real Estate Acquisition Fund (RREAF) 

Henry joined SCC in the fall of 2023 as an analyst and later took on the role of project manager at Simulacrum, an AI economics forecasting startup, as well as at Liberate the Block, a firm dedicated to empowering underrepresented students in higher education. He is passionate about economics, technology, and real estate, and he enjoys contributing to and collaborating with the fast-paced environment of startups.

Kayla joined SCC in Fall 2024 as an analyst for MYNDY and later served as Recruitment Chair. She is passionate about tackling complex issues that startups face and collaborating with others to find solutions. She loves being able to make a real impact on startups across a wide range of topics in their fast-paced and dynamic environments.

Summer 2025: HR & Recruitment Specialist at a staffing agency.

Jena first worked with Gen.G, an esports startup in Korea, before joining SCC in Spring 2024 as an analyst for Unibaio. She is passionate about HR and strategy in unconventional industries. Jena enjoys startups for the responsibility they give her and how much she learns through hands-on experience.

Summer 2025: A sailing instructor, worked as an intern at an events planning & marketing company, and helped friends run their ice cream store!

Nicole joined SCC in Fall 2024 as an analyst, grew into an associate with Goalden Hour, and is currently VP of Member Engagement. She's passionate about building community and sparking collaboration that lets new ideas flourish. Nicole loves the energy of working with startups—the creativity, the fast pace, and the ability to watch big visions turn into real growth.

Santiago joined SCC in the Fall of 2024 as an analyst for Agent Mira, and moved on to be an associate for Rafter in the Spring. Now he is working as VP of NME, working to help others interested in consulting learn about the industry. Outside of SCC, he loves music and stays active whether it's lifting, running, or rock-climbing. He is also passionate about seeing how startups develop and how we can contribute to their success.

Christine joined SCC as a strategy analyst in Fall 2024, and served as a project manager for our Unibaio team the following spring. As an Operations Research and Engineering student, she is interested in the intersection of applied mathematics, programming, data analytics, and business strategy.

Julia joined SCC in Fall 2024 as an analyst for Circular and Bantr and will serve as a project manager this semester. She is passionate about biotech and data analytics and is particularly interested in bridging the gap between scientific innovation and business development, turning research breakthroughs into strategies with real world impact.

This past summer, she interned at Shell as a Data Science Intern, working on time series forecasting and MLflow integration. With prior experience at a tech startup, she is passionate about scaling innovation and enjoys the fast-paced, high-impact journey of early-stage ventures.
